Presidents's Update
Ocean Grove Rotary Club joint meeting MND night 13 Feb 2018.
The Ocean Grove Rotary Club joint meeting turned out to be a joint meeting with “all clubs” in the region, over 230 people in attendance and an auction to go with it. Overall it was at great night and over $15,000 was raised to be donated to MND (Motor Neurone Disease). What a fantastic effort from all those who attended and contributed on the night. Just as an aside, President John Calnin renamed me Jeff Cooke and Ian Cover had the pleasure of reminding everyone on the night.
Back on the home front!
Some of troops will be relieved that we are back “home “ now after wandering and playing away over the last couple of months. It was great to get out and meet new people, experience different venues and places, with many highlights over the last few months and great views. Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club  had  amazing views and Busters at 321 Pakington Street had amazing food. I hear a few of the  members were “missing” home, so they will be relieved we have made it back! Our home ground will always be there - so please don’t fret too much as we will never be too far away!
