Hello all, It is hard to believe another month has ticked by, helped by a couple Of no meeting weeks this month I suppose. We started the month with another successful BBQ and thanks to all those who helped once again and especially those members who did extra shifts to cover those members who could not be there. Next week there was a social night at the Great Western which also coincided with Frank's birthday. And the following week a very busy board meeting. Last week we were fortunate to have David from RARE (Formerly DIK) come and enlighten us On the many things they are doing these days, collecting goods from around Vic and exporting them to counties that are in need of these goods, a request was if you have a computer or laptop you are not using they could help get this to someone who needs it in another country. NO meeting this week so enjoy and relax. Also please give a thought for Darren Derren an ex member and president who is recuperating in hospital after a major heart attack and may need some help in the future.
I look forward to seeing you all soon.

MEMBERSHIP:
A membership meeting was held recently which was led by District Membership AG Garry Higgins. Due to previous commitments our Club did not have a person participate. It was held using the Teams meeting facility.
Below is an extract from the email I received. I have a copy of each of the PowerPoint's and more than happy to forward to any member who would like to have a look.
"Good meeting last night.
As I mentioned, attached is the PowerPoint presentation about membership from the Kardinia RC from September last year. If it would be helpful, feel free to adapt & use for your club.
As part of the presentation at the meeting, we handed out the attached survey for members to think about record write names of potential members. About 50 names were suggested. We then collected the forms, collated the names and emailed each member with the people they had suggested as a prompt. Last month, we re-sent this list as another prompter. Another membership focused meeting is planned for October / November."

A big thank you to Christine for working on and completing the Clubs Website upgrade. Great work and well done.
We also featured again in the latest edition of The Grovedale Grapevine hopefully educating our local community on how we are involved.
FUNDRAISING
As previously reported, a great result at our last Bunnings BBQ. A great response from people who helped and got us through. We have another Bunnings BBQ on the 4th November. Please continue to keep Christine up to date on your availability/unavailability to enable us to have another successful outcome.
Until next, stay safe and as healthy as possible.
Kind Regards
Peter
