Hi everyone, hope you had a good night (774 politically ok Lindsay?).

Visit from Geelong Lutheran College.
We had three charming speakers from Geelong Lutheran College telling us about their upcoming May trip to Vanuatu. Charlene Tattersall and her two school captains, Kiara Miller and Brooke O'Brien will be doing research on the needs of the communities they visit. They will then visit us again after their return to share their findings.

Rotary Wall.
Thank you to Bernadette & Rice Village; we have our own permanent place. The wall adjacent to our dining area has been permanently set aside for our use. We will no longer have to carry our bell, rostrum etc. from the storeroom; great news!

This organisation raises money for Motor Neurone Disease research. There is no known cause and no cure for MND. There are 2200 people living with the disease in Australia.  Rock-OFF MND organise an annual live music event in Geelong as their major fund raiser.  They have just hosted their 3rd event which was really successful.  They are now planning for the March 2018 concert and are seeking any assistance we can provide.
For further information go to www.rockoffmnd.com.au

Ride the Bellarine
Ride the Bellarine.  Sunday 9th April 2017
Thanks to everyone who is volunteering or participating in this great event.  Participants and volunteers will be emailed details by the organisers.

helloworld Geelong are major sponsors of this event.  They have donated return flights from either Avalon, Sydney, Adelaide or Hobart to the club who raises the most money on a per member basis.  So we need to get behind our club riders and sponsor them.  An email will be sent out with the details or alternatively just ask Peter how to sponsor a rider.
